BLOG RELAUNCH

We’ve been having a think about the information we provide to you; our clients, associates, colleges and the greater financial planning community and decided on some changes.  We believe that we may be doing a bit of overkill on the technical information with our newsletter, website and blog providing financial planning information.  So, that’s why we’ve decided that we should use our blog to provide you more details on the people that you’re dealing with at JBS.  We want you to have greater trust and communication with us and by providing more on who we are, we want you to feel like you really know your JBS representative.

Brodie

Brodie PicI am one of the most recent additions to the JBS team and my role is Practice and Compliance Manager, which means that I keep the office running and on the right side of the law. I’ve been in the financial planning industry forever and been giving advice since 2004.  I love knowing things and I love giving this knowledge to others. I also love helping the next generation of financial planners realise their career dreams.

That’s enough of the intro – let’s talk more about me!

One thing that people might not know about me is that I’m mad for a dress- up party!  My 30th was a dress up and I was Willy Wonka from the new movie. I’ve also been Santa, Tina Turner and a Spanish dancer.  In fact I love a dress up so much I’ve won awards.  I won best dressed couple as Beetlejuice  and my husband was He-Man and most recently I won Best Dressed at my cousins 21st costume party as the old guy (Karl Fredrickson) from the cartoon movie Up.  So if you have a dress-up party coming up, I’m there!  I don’t care what it’s for…your mum’s 50th, your father’s retirement party or even your dog’s birthday party.  I already have my next costume picked out!

  1. LOVE the costumes Brodie, especially Tina Turner, I think it’s the tan! Beetlejuice scares me, and the old man would even have your kids questioning if it was you! I have an op shop party to go to in a few weeks, you’ll have to give me some ideas!
